Plush Poinsettias

Here are some beautiful cards created with the Plus Poinsettia Corner by Memory Box 98967.  Some are cut from glitter paper, others matte, and all are touched with  Tim Holtz Enamel Accents.  These are the base cards, the sentiments will go on as I decide who the recipient will be. SPECIAL THANKS goes to Pam Sparks for her Video that made this NOW something  successful and fun, where it was just incredibly difficult before her techniques.

Big Eyed Sophia

Another Sophia --just love her big eyes!   This is pencil colored for the Miran  # 73  Anything Goes   Lots of detail with snow and snow writer, and with grey pearls that didn't photograph well.  She's just so sweet, and the recipient of this card will love her.  The stamp is Warm wishes and mistletoe kisses from SU Tin of tags.  Distressed edges are touched wit Aileens Glitter Snow.

Snowflake and More Snowflakes

This just magnificent card is created with SU Winter Wonderland designer vellum, Tim  Holtz Thinlits Snowflakes (660059) Gold foil cardstock, a star punch, and sheer gold ribbon.  Merry Christmas is gold embossed and is from the Jusst Right Elegant Christmas Swirls stampset. This card is surprisingly easy to create.  Thank you to Sandi McIver for her superb tutorial found here. Her dimensions are modified a little, but the idea is hers.

Today I was in kind of a "flaky" mood as I did several snowflake cards.

Left features stamps from Tin of Tags (SU) stamped in Cherry  Cobbler and embossed with a Christmas Words Sizzix embossing folder from Hero Arts "Christmas Words" 658285.  The card on the right is similar, but the background on light gray paper is stamped (off) Merry Medley background stamp (SU) with Smoky Slate, and then stamped with all over design that used snowflakes from Hot off the Press Snowflakes and Dies set Inkadinkado Christmas and one other set named Noel, unknown company.  Both cards are touched with Viva Pearl Pen Silver Chrome for accent.

Running toward the Christmas Finish line

I'm trying to finish up cards, and couldn't have had much success without the great tutorial by Pam Sparks.  FINALLY I've seen success after years of trying---success with delicate dies. I've just gotten so frustrated I could scream cutting out very detailed dies and getting them onto the card.  My combination that's best for me is StickIt and PEELED (be sure to peel) glimmer paper.

Kit and Clowder Advent gift 1----Prisma Color Pencils and reverse double zfold card.
Starform stickers over red foil from Pop Ups Etc, on designer paper and real red cardstock

Tim Holtz Treeline die (Sizzix 661064)  glitter paper, watermarked snowfall over distress ink from the Simon Says Stamp exclusive--stencil Falling Snow.  Merry  Christmas sentiment is embossed on acrylic, (or the card) and is from the Stampers Anonymous Christmas Time CMS141 set.

And this die--which has given me SO much trouble cut like butter and stayed in the die so I could adhere it!  It's We Wish You Elegant Script by Memory Box (99555)

here are four cards I did with that Tree Line Die

This one details the "Falling  Snow" stenciled with Aleen's Snow
It's so pretty, but the photograph isn't!

And this is Memory Box SUPER detailed Swirling  Snowflakes---cut from gliter paper on Night of Navy cardstock.    This is a very special card I made for a very special friend.

This one is by Hannah Lynn--an Advent Gift this Christmas called Hot Cocoa Fairy.. She is finished with Marvy heat puffed snowflakes, wink of stella, glaze pens and glitter pens, and mounted on blue shimmer paper.  The graphic is colored in Prismacolor Pencils.

Woodlands

These cards are some of my favorites this year.  They are done with one of the Tim Holtz "Woodlands" dies.  The "Joy" is cut from  Holiday Double Cuts from Papertrey Ink (PTD-701)  The cards use glitter paper and foil cardstock, and cardstock that is spritzed with  " Shimmer Sparkle" spray by Imaginecrafts.    Whether silver or gold earth tones or winter colors, this design is gorgeous! The tiny stars are punched with a  SU star border punch

Poinsettia and Girl

Love this little Poinsettia and Girl image by Miran. She's done for the Anything Goes Challenge #72 I This card is a modified Zfold card that shows a perfectly matched Christmas  Word art embossing folder (Hero Arts Christmas Words 3 658285) on pure white shimmer paper behind the artpiece that's on real red paper.   The design of this card allows a short note and Christmas message to be adhered to the back of the card that is allowed to open and stand. Colored in Prismacolor Pencils and touched with glitter and wink of stella, white Posca pen, it's ready for the mail.

December Progressive

This darling little Love Lucy is the graphic for the December Progressive Challenge in Miran's Facebook Challenge.  She's colored with Prismacolor Pencils, accented with white Posca Pen, and  Red  Wink of Stella on her balloon.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is a SU stamp from Elementary Elegance kit. This is die cut and sponged and mounted on gold heart vellum over white cardstock adhered to a Night of Navy cardbase.

Art by Miran---Anything Goes Challenge #71

This is Miran's Warm Winter Wishes.  I created several cards with this graphic last year
but this year, she's spectacular.  She's freckle faced and in a blizzard of enamel dots, rhinestones, silver pearl and dazzling diamond glitter.  She's colored in Prismacolor colors, and finished with a medallion created by Tracy  Wray with a matching bow finishing her scarf.  The green foil snowflake cuts (that photograph poorly) are mounted on  my new"cable knit" embossed base cardstock (SU Crumb cake)  She's created for the Anything Goes Challenge #71

Winter Alyssa

Winter Alyssa was just SO much fun to do for the November Progressive  Challenge Art by Miran's facebook album.  The sweet silver haired Alyssa is mounted on  royal blue foil paper, accented with diamond snowflakes. She's finished in prismacolor pencils, and touched with wink of stella and Glistening snow-writer.  The edges of the artpiece are distressed and inked with acrylic paint and snowriter.  This is one of my favorite progressives and one of my favorite cards for this Holiday season.

Poinsettia Priscilla

Here is my little namesake Priscilla again, this time with bright red poinsettias to share created for the Challenge #71 for artbymiran.  She is colored in Prismacolor pencils, her bow finished with Crystal 3d Glaze (which is reflecting in the photo) and Liquid snow writer for her fur. Priscilla's Poinsettias

How crazy I am with this adorable Poinsettia Priscilla.  This little namesake is carrying pink Poinsettias, and she's gray haired--like the Priscilla who colored her with Prismacolor Pencils.  Her ribbons are finished with 3d Crystal Glaze, (and are reflecting the light in the picture below) The distress edged oval artpiece is first perforated, then cut, then distressed and then edged with sparkly snow writer paint. She is mounted on a letter-pressed embossed and sparkle spritzed cardstock (Holly Swirls Sizzix# 657139) in Sweet Sugarplum paper and ink.  The Merry Christmas stamp is by Tim Holtz in the set Christmas Time (CMS141)  Her hair is touched with a Tosca Silver pen.  Her fur collar is created with Glistening Snow Writer (Deco Arts)
This is one of MirAn's newest designs and she was created for the Anything Goes Challenge # 70

Aurora Wings_Girl with floating hair

This card was created with Prismacolor pencilled "Girl with Floating Hair, Gardenias and Butterflies"
She was created for the Challenge #38 Anything Goes Blog Challenge at Aurora Wings  The card is graceful and delicate pierced edging on the artpiece over lavender textured paper.  That is mounted on offset diamond glitter paper.  All the small blossoms are "colored" with diamond stickles, and final touches with Wink of Stella, and lavender rhinestones complete the square 5x5 card.

I wish the photograph could share the glitter and glisten of this delicate card (my third entry) in the  October Anything Goes by Mitzi Challenge!  This will be a get well (with butterflies of hope) card for a friend.

Tim Holtz Woodlands

These  Tim Holtz Sizzix 660978 dies are absolutely beautiful and limitless in the possibilities! Here are some cards I've started using these dies and some specialty and regular papers by  SU, some holographic paper, foiled cardstock by DCWV and stickers from Pop Ups Etc.  The Sentiment is from the gorgeous Hot off the Press Half and Half Snowflakes collection.  I can't wait to see where these dies take me.
